Shock!!!

I am in SHOCK!! Yesterday I got the call that Brother Jerry Black was sick and they were taking him to the ER. They wanted everyone to pray. So last night after church we were going to the hospital until we talked to Beth. (his daughter) She said he just had a urinary track infection and he was in ICU. But it was just because his blood pressure and they would probably put him i a room tomorrow and he would be fine. She didn't even come up. So we decided to stay home since it was 9:30. Well mom's phone died while we were out at the grocery store and mine was already dead. So we got home got ready for bed and at 11:00 mom plugged her phone and got the call that he had a heart attack. He was on life support and they had been trying to revive him for 45 minutes. So we took off to the hospital. By the time we got there it was too late. They had just came out and said he had passed.

So to say the very least our church is in shock and his family is upset. Sister Faye passed away Jan 2 and it seems like he has been grieving him self to death. He was definitely a man of few words but he had a great since of humor. Since Sister Faye passed away he seems to have been talking a lot more. I guess he had no one to talk to at home. He was a GOOD man and a very talented singer. He will be greatly missed! Please pray for his parents and his daughters they have lossed there mom and dad with in 6 months. I can not imagine how they are feeling. As far as his parents. Brother Jerry was there only child so as all of us with children can imagine what it would be like to lose a child. That is just wrong parents are not supposed to out live their kids. But they are taking it very hard and not in good health at all. So pray for the family and our church.

Getting ready for revival!

Well we are home from Atlanta and we are pooped! I got my furniture in on Thursday and it is beautiful. I love it!! So Thursday morning I got up and pulled everything out of my room. I mean everything. It was completely empty. So I decided to start painting after I cleaned my baseboards washed the walls and did all that jazz. My furniture arrived about 1:00 and I had it all finished except some trimming in I didn't finish. That still left the problem of all the stuff in the living room. I was planning on going to Nila Thursday night and they wouldn't let me back out of that so we went. Then I had to work Friday so when I got home Bradley got off work early so by the time I got home he was already here. So we ran to Kohl's because he was in need of some shoes. And since Lucas was with Brandy watching Toy Story 3 and Logan was at moms asleep. We decided to hurry up and go while we had no kids. We got shoes and went to eat Mexican just in time for mom to call and say Logan was awake. We ran by and got the kids. Came home dumped off Bradley and the kids so I could run to CVS and Kroger for my deals of the week.

At CVS I got 3 boxes of strawberry pop tarts and Bradley a Schick Hydra 5 razor and paid less than 5.00 for all that. Then I went to Kroger got a buggy full it rang up 69.45 and I paid 24.30 for it. I was super excited !

So I came home unloaded my groceries and turned on another load of clothes and then ran to mom's at 10:30 to go swimming. So at 12:30 when I got home I got a shower and folded some clothes went to bed at 2 or so got up at 7 to head to Atlanta. I was so sleepy!! I still am! We had a good trip. I drove from Dalton until we got there and everyone slept. We decided to stay for church last night since it started at 4 our time. We got home at like 11:00. Which I drove all the way home. I can not believe it I never drive all the way. Anyway now I am home with my mess. I have to start cleaning. Especially now that plans have changed and we are having the ministers at my house Sunday night. So I have a ton of stuff to do. Pray that I can get it all done!

Waiting...

Why is it you are just going along. Thinking everything is fine. Then all the sudden something comes up and totally disrupts everything you are doing. Nothing you can do anything about but pray and hope the Lord will work it out. I am praying for that right now. Except it seems like I can not get anywhere with my prayers. I feel like I am in a hole screaming for help and no one is around to hear me. I know there is and when it is time he will make a way. But right now I am waiting not so patiently but waiting. I need to work on that patient thing!! Hope everyone has a good week.!

Spring Cleaning

I am in the spring cleaning mode. I have emptied the boys bedrooms completely. Which means it is all in the living room. I have cleaned base boards walls doors floors everything. I have been organizing toys books and movies. I have a bigger mess than when I started. LOL But down deep it is clean! I have to put everything back up now and I will be finished in there rooms. My furniture for my bedroom should be here Wednesday. It is already in the store they waiting to deliver because I am not ready for it. LOL. I got my paint today. So I will be painting tomorrow afternoon. I am super excited. I have never had a new bedroom suite. Before I was married I bought a bed and nightstand from Bombay. When I was younger I got everyone hand me downs because I was the baby. When we got married Bradley had a suite that was god awful ugly.LOL I painted it and we have been using the dresser and chest with my bed and night stand. So I am really excited. I can't wait to get it in. I wanted to get new carpet before I got my bedroom suite but it just didn't work that way. So I will post pictures when I get everything put together.

I can not believe revival is in less than 2 weeks. We worked this weekend outside cleaning out the flower beds and stuff. Now it is time to finish the inside. I have so much to do and not enough time to do it in. We are going to try to go to Nila this week and I am hoping to get to go to Huntsville one day also. Then this weekend off to Atlanta for their homecoming. So oh lord please help me!!

Kids!!!

Do kids know when you are so tired you can not hold your head up and then decide it is time to run a fever and be up all night. Yes Logan is up and it is almost 1 am. He is pitiful laying on the couch beside me miserable! I got home from FR at about 11:30 and everyone was in bed I was going to sit here for a minute and organize my coupons then hit the sack. As soon as I got to that point where I don't feel like I can keep my eyes open. I hear it!! Mommy I'm sick!! bless his heart his checks were flaming red and he is got fever. So I gave him some medicine and I am hoping he will drift off to sleep and I can go to bed!!

This going to FR every night is about to get the best of me!! Tonight was the worst. Luckily we rode with some friends so I didn't have to drive and there was some major laughage going on!! We had fun!! But we were like 20 minutes late due to Bonaroo!! Those people are so crazy and traffic was a nightmare everyone that came from Smyrna tonight was late or right on time!! It took us 30 minutes to go 10 miles!! I was ready to scream!! It was fun and I guess I am going to try to make it again tomorrow night. I am hoping to see good things! Bro Pat always says Friday is payday and I feel like I have worked all week I am hoping to see someone make it!! Oh well have a good weekend I am going to try to go to sleep!!

Slacking...

Ok so I have been seriously slacking on my blog. Things have just been super crazy. Friday mom Leanne and I went to Trenton then to Chattanooga to the funeral home then home again. I stayed home and did some cleaning then Aunt Veta's birthday dinner was after church Saturday night so we cooked dinner for that. Sunday we got up and went to Flat Rock. Brother Pat is helping run that revival. It was fun I got to see a lot of people I don't see that often. We were planning to come home before church that night but the singing wasn't over with until 4 and church started at 5. So we just sat around and talked until church time. After church we hit the road.

I was so tired Monday morning and I was sleeping so good. Then at 6:30 I hear bulldozers and all kinds of heavy machinery. My neighbor was getting her driveway paved. Which I was super jealous. My driveway was horrible. After the flood any little bit of rocks we had was washed away. Then about 8:00 the little guy came over to my door. He said" we got some extra gravel and my boss wants to now if you care if we fill in your driveway" I was like no we would appreciate it. They started putting gravel down and then came back and smoothed it out. It looks so much better and it is completely level with the road. I believe the lord let them do that for me.

Well mom and Leanne and I have been going to Flat Rock every night and I think Bradley is going tonight. I haven't had to take my kids. Bradley kept them Monday and Nana and Papaw kept them last night. I am afraid I am going to have to take them tonight. Which is fine it is just a much more peaceful ride when there are no kids in the car. LOL.. Oh well the lord has gave 1 the holighost Sunday morning and I am looking forward to another one tonight. Oh well I am about to go get my kids and get the oil changed in my car. So have a good week if I don't post again.

Busy Busy week around here! I don't think we have got too much accomplished but I feel like I haven't been home all week. Wednesday night Brother Pat went to Winchester so we skipped church. Shh don't tell anybody. Brandy, Wilkins, Mom, LeAnne, Me and Lucas went to Franklin to Home Goods. I love that store!!! But of course we had to stop and eat first. So we tried this Mexican place called Cozymels. It was so GOOD!! They literally made the guacamole right at our table and it was delicious. It was so good mom and I were talking today and trying to figure out when we could go back. LOL..Anyway we went to Home Goods and i found my bedding!! Brandy got her bedding too. Then we headed to JoAnnes of course mom would have to stop at a fabric store. Then we ran over to Krispy Kreme and got 2 dozen donuts.. They were so good and fresh!! I love them....LOL

Today I had to work of course and I was super tired..But after work I had a flat tire and I had to go get a new one. That was fun. I decided I needed my oil changed while I was there. Well of course Wal Mart didn't have the tool to change my oil or something so I couldn't do that. After wally world I ran home fixed dinner and left out with NO kids this time..I hit Publix CVS and Target and of course Chic Fila. I met up with mom and Brandy at Publix. Saved a ton of money that was nice. Now I am about to head to bed cause we are going to Trenton in the morning! Have a Good Friday!!

Tuesday???or Monday????

I am super sad our long weekend is over with. Bradley's brother was here until Sunday. So we went shopping Saturday and Sunday with them. We grilled out then the kids, Bradley and Douglas went swimming in Nana and Papaw's pool. No I didn't get in but I wanted to really bad!!! I wasn't sure I wanted to be the only women in the pool. So I will wait and get in another day SOON!!Well Makenzie and Shelby stayed for the week at Bradley's parents house. So Sunday night after church they wanted Lucas and Logan to spend the night. So we let them! They stayed down there until this afternoon and I had to make them leave. They get to go back Thursday because of course I have to work.

I do have exciting news I will be getting my new Ashley bedroom furniture in 2 weeks. I can not wait. So now that means I have to get everything painted and ready. I still have not found a bedding set that I like. I change my mind so much I am thinking of going with white and just accent with the colors I like. I have all my pictures and everything. And on top of all that Brandy and I spent like a hour in World Market yesterday and I have decided to change my colors in the living room. I am going to recover my chair and get new curtains and now I need to search for pictures that I like. Oh well that is all fun stuff.

I am also doing really well on my couponing..I love it and my family loves all the food in the house. The only draw back is I have no room to store all of it. So I am about to do some organizing. If my sister was the great sister she claims to be she would come organize it for me. (Brandy!!!) You think you are so good at that.

Well revival is in just like a little more than 3 weeks and I have a ton to do. I do not think I will have very much company but we are doing the ministers Sunday night at moms so we have to help her get her house together. A lot to do and not a lot of time to do it. It is mostly fun stuff. I can not wait to show you all pictures of the furniture as soon as I get it I will post!!!
