We started last week out with a trip to Chucke Cheese for Lucas' 5th birthday. I can not believe he is already 5 seems like yesterday we brought him home. Then Tuesday Lucas and I made Christmas Candy. It was fun and loves to help me do stuff like that. Wednesday was the Christmas Party at work. Which of course I was put in charge of. I don't know why they do that to me. It went great anyway. Thursday and Friday was pretty much spent Christmas shopping with mom and Brandy. Friday night was Christmas Eve so mom brandy, LeAnne and I loaded up our six kids and took them caroling to some of our older people. It seemed to be a big hit and the kids loved it. People kept giving them candy and cookies. They did really good and hopefully it helped some that feel lonely thru the holidays. We got home got the cookies out put the kids in bed then was up all night wrapping presents and putting a bicycle together. We went to bed at about 2 thinking the kids would get us up at 4 am like they did last year. Well our phone rang at 7:30am and no kids up. So we had to wake them up! They loved all their presents. I loved mine too... I got my flip video camera that I was seriously wanting. Then we went to moms and open a ton of presents there. The kids got so much stuff. Bradley got his Clarks and Gap Jacket he was wanting and I got my bedding from Marshalls and my new shoes... And a seriously cute purse from Brandy that I love. They are called Miche Bags and you can change the covers. She got a purse cover and a diaper bag cover for the baby. I think my favorite present this year was the snow. I have never in my life saw a White Christmas. We had about a inch Christmas morning then it snowed all day. It was beautiful!!! I guess Lucas was right he informed me about a month ago that it snows everywhere on Christmas. Sunday morning they called of church because our roads were bad. So we stayed in our P.J.'s most of the day. Bradley started cleaning out drawers and pulling stuff out of closets. So we would have a place to put everything. Then about 3 we decided to run to Logan's to eat we were starving and I sure didn't feel like cooking. We got home cleaned Lucas' closet and let the kids play for a while. Then we were all ready for bed!!! This week is still cleaning and shopping. We still have 2 Christmas' left this weekend with Bradley's family and next weekend with the Middlebrooks in Gatlinburg.

While I am on that subject we got a urgent call from Grandaddy Monday afternoon telling us that Granny wasn't good and they were coming in to pray for her. So of course mom Leanne Brandy Wilkins and I loaded up went to her house. After they prayed she went to sleep for a while but then woke up again in bad shape. We finally convinced her that she needed to go to the ER about 11pm. The ambulance came and got her and took her to Memorial Hospital in Chattanooga. We were there until about 4 am our time. And let me just tell you those people in the waiting room hated us. There were only about 14 of us waiting out there. If you have ever been around one middlebrooks you know it is not quiet but when you get 14 very sleepy Middlebrooks together all bets are off. We laughed most of the night. Apparently her Gall Bladder was the size of a softball when it should be the size of a golf ball. And the took out ALOT of stones the size a Pecan. She says she feels so much better and wishes she would have had it done 30 years ago. Oh did I mention she hadn't been to the doctor since Uncle Daniel was born and he is 37 years old. They are sending her home this morning. She is still sore but feeling much better. Thank You Lord!! Oh well I have blogged long enough...Have a great rest of the week!

5 years ago was the worst day of my life I thought. LOL Until they brought Lucas in to see me!

You see I was due January 5th. I had already been on bed rest for 2 weeks. I was seriously getting tired of it too. That Monday Aunt Maronica and Uncle Kevin and the kids had come up from Florida for uncle Kevin's family Christmas and decided to come on up from Trenton and see me. She went by the store and picked up the stuff to make my favorite thing she makes. Fried Chicken and Coleslaw. It was so good I think I ate like 5 pieces of chicken. They left to head home and I had to go to the doctor that afternoon. I was the last appointment of the day. So when I went in the checked me out. Apparently my protein level was extremely high.. LOL..This scared them really bad. I explained all the chicken I had ate. They didn't care. I had Preeclampsia. He asked me what I was doing tomorrow and I was like nothing..I thought he wanted me to come back tomorrow and be checked. I was wrong his answer was you are having a baby..I was like ok. I have never been more relieved and scared to death at the same time. I was so sick of bed rest so I was thinking yes it is about to be over with. But on the other hand I was terrified..LOL..

Anyway that night mom Brandy and LeAnne loaded me up in a wheel chair and took me to finish my Christmas shopping. Then at midnight Bradley and I made it to the hospital got checked in. Let me just tell you about that night. Have I mentioned how scared I was anyway.. But apparently the lady next door was having her baby with no drugs...NO Drugs people!! She was screaming and hollering. They wanted me to rest yea right.. I was ready to pack up and go home...It was aweful...LOL...But the next morning after the pill didn't work they started the drip at 7 am. My family started coming in. Let me just tell you who all was there.. My mom and dad, Brandy LeAnne (and Addy of course she was only like 2 months old.) Edna, Danielle,Andrea, Granny and Grandaddy.. Sitting in the room with me and Bradley all day..LOL..So after laying there until 6 pm with very little changing. The doctor comes in to tell me that he was coming back at 8 and if things hadn't progressed he wanted to do a C-Section.. I flipped!! I was already scared and this just made it worse. Not to mention my blood pressure the whole time was like 190/100..( it varied a little all day but really high) So when they come back in at 8 guess what no change. I remember everyone leaving the room except Bradley. He come over to the bed and assured me that everything would be fine. I was thinking man he is really calm and I think that's what calmed me down so much. Apparently he put on a good front because Brandy tells of a crying very emotional Bradley that she met in the hall. LOL...Anyway after getting me all ready for surgery the took me back and Lucas was born at 9:50 pm..Perfectly healthy but really scary looking.. LOL....Bradley says he was scared something was wrong with him because his head was so messed up.. I was so tired and as soon as they pulled the baby out they gave me medicine that made me go to sleep. I was trying to stay awake to hear him cry.. After I heard it I remember seeing a very fuzzy Bradley holding a baby so I could see him. Honestly all I saw was the outline of them. I just remember thinking he is ok. I was asleep and didn't wake up until about 2am. When I woke up the nurse came in and I asked her to bring him in. Apparently they had him at the nurses station waiting on me to wake up. Bradley was asleep but as soon as Lucas came in he woke up. Bradley's words were he looks better. When I saw him he had a hat on and was all clean and wrapped up. I thought he was perfect just not all that pretty..LOL...

After a very difficult 3 days in the hospital. I had major blood pressure problems and I was so swollen it was awful I looked like Fiona from Shrek..We came home on December 23rd. Dad met me at home and stayed with while Bradley went shopping to get me a Christmas present. It is awful now for him to have birthday so close to Christmas but at the time I thought of him like my Christmas present. Bradley and I sat around all day Christmas Eve and just held him or stared at him.

Anyway today Lucas is wild. He is so excited about his birthday and Christmas. We are going to Chucke Cheese tonight everyone pray for me.. I hate this place. But that is what he wants to do. Sorry for the rambling.

The Christmas Play was Saturday night! It was really good the kids did good!! Got some snow Sunday so that was nice. It was just another busy weekend that gets tangled into this busy Holiday season! Tuesday night mom Brandy LeAnne and I took the kids to Opryland Hotel to see the lights. 4 Adults and 6 kids quiet a adventure let me just tell you!! The kids enjoyed it!! So now it is time to get ready for church. Lucas and Addy's Christmas Party is tomorrow. Then Christmas Vacation officially begins. Saturday we are heading down to Trenton to my granny and granddaddy's house to see Aunt Maronica Uncle Kevin Kelsey and Avery. They are going to be in from Florida for the weekend. It will be nice to see them for a while. Then Mom and I have got to do some Christmas shopping I am so not finished!! Oh well everyone have a great weekend! I am sure everyone will be just as busy as we are but have a good one anyway!!!

Lucas...

I was looking thru pictures today and came across this one. It almost made me cry. Lucas will be 5 in just a few days. That makes me sick. I can't imagine where the time has went. This picture was 2 years ago and he has changed so much. He is so grown up acting. The other day when I took him to school he said he didn't need me to take him. I was crushed!! I walked him to the door and let him walk down the hall alone. It was awful!! I know I am having pregnancy hormones. I don't know how yall feel but I am constantly worrying am I treating them the same, am I showing one more attention than the other. I know I am crazy!! But with the new baby on the way and Lucas in school I feel like he is going to be on his own. He is at that age where he can do everything for his self you know and Logan is so not there. Logan requires constant attention.. LOL Oh well I just wanted to share this picture cause I think it is soooooo cute!!

Another busy weekend down! Friday night Nana called and wanted the boys. SO we took them down there and Bradley and I actually got to go out to eat all alone. It was really nice!! Then we ran to Khols. Saturday was shopping all day. Mom , LeAnne and I covered alot of ground in one day. We did the mall in Murfreesboro, hit a few stores at the Avenue then off to Franklin to Coolsprings Galleria to a few more stores. When we got home I was pooped let me tell you. Sunday was the Cardin Christmas. WE usually have it at Skyline but this year Aunt Thelma had it at her house in Tullahoma. We had a lots of fun just visiting and laughing. Got to see my cousin Tiffany who has practically been at deaths door for a few years now. Since her surgery she is doing so much better. She looks wonderful!! She says she feels like a new person!! I am so thankful! Anyway it is extremely cold and snowing here again!! It isn't sticking to anything but it is still pretty just to watch it. Well that was my exciting weekend!! Thanksgiving and Black Friday!

Well this was a crazy weekend! Let me just tell you! We went to Bradley's family for thanksgiving on Thursday. Douglas and April were there. Then later Danielle, Andrea and Michael came in. So we planned out our shopping trip. I decided I would go by Toys r us at 9. I was thinking there would be a line but thought the rain would keep some people at home. I was wrong a hour before it opened and I bet there was 2000 people in line it was ridiculous. So I ran back to the house ordered the few things I wanted online. I had to pay 13.00 shipping but it was still worth it! Then Danielle, Andrea, Bradley and I headed to walmart about 10:30pm. When we got there at 10:45 there were already people in line with buggies full. So we ran back there to get a leapster and some Pj's. Of course they were completely out of leapsters. Which i was not happy. So we picked up a few other things and stood in line from about 11:15 until after 1 am! Then we headed to Target and let me just tell you it was crazy. They didn't open until 4am and 3hours early the line was already 3 stores down. Bradley was like this is ridiculous and he was ready to go home. The only reason he went was to get a new tv. I think the other150 people in front of us was there for the same tv. I was like no I will sit out here and wait. So Andrea and I got out and sat in the rain and freezing cold with nothing but our coats and one blanket. (on the hard sidewalk might I add) Bradley and Danielle ran to Steak and Shake to get us something to eat. By the time they got back we were freezing. Bradley came and sat with me and let Andrea go to the car. Which from what I heard was nice and warm. I never saw them two again. They fell asleep. So after 3 hours and a few people trying to cut in line. We made it in. They ran out of the 40" TV. So we had to get the 46" which Bradley wasn't too upset over. (LOL) So I grabbed a few other toys that I went for and they had the lines going so smooth we were out of there by 4:30. The fun part came when we realized the trunk was full already and the tv was too big for the back seat. So I made everyone get out Bradley shoved the tv in and we still had a problem there was no room for the Danielle and Andrea. LOL So Danielle laid on top of the box on her belly and Andrea sat in the front seat (on the hump) between me and Bradley. It wasn't a very comfortable ride home but we made it!! LOL.. Then of course Bradley had to get the new tv sat up before we could go to bed. It was almost 6 before we got in bed. I was so tired. We slept until about 11:30 got up at cereal watched the game and headed to Nana's for the rest of the day. Bradley"s two other brothers and there families came Friday. So we stayed there until 9 I guess then the girls wanted to watch a movie. Which I didn't make it thru. I fell asleep about 10:30. I am still recuperating!!

Now the family is all gone and I am still tired. Trying to get everything back together. Now my washing machine is backing up in my toilet and bath tub. Oh well I am going to try and clean a little. Got to get out here in a bit and run to gymboree they are holding some sweaters for me. I got to try and find the boys something for Christmas Program which is next weekend!! Oh lord all the Holiday fun is starting. Have a good week!

Well last week was very eventful! We spent Thursday and Friday at mom's putting trees up, cleaning, and cooking. Then Saturday was Thanksgiving at her house. Patty, Billmon and their clan came up. We had a lot of fun as usual!! Laughed alot and at way too much! I got home about 8:30 and went straight to bed I was so tired. Then Sunday Mom, Wilkins, LeAnne, Addy, Me and Logan went to Trenton to my granny and granddaddy's house. Had a really good time there too. Got to see some of the family. We were only missing Aunt Maronica's family and Uncle Daniels family. Uncle Chris and Aunt Lora were there but no kids. We had fun! It made me ready for Christmas in the smokies. Everyone will be there for 2 days. Its about the only time of year we are all together. Oh well now today I have to clean my house. Bradley's family is coming up Thursday and I am getting some over flow house guests. So I better get busy it would be so easy to sit here all day and do nothing. Can't do that gotta get busy!

Boy has it been a crazy few days. I thought this was going to be a nice restful weekend. Since it is the last weekend until 3rd week in January yes I said January!!! We Thanksgiving with my mom and dad this weekend and then next weekend is Thanksgiving with Bradley's family. Then it is December no one has time to even think in December. It is full then New Years weekend we have Christmas with Bradley's family and second weekend is Gatlinburg with the Middlebrooks! So we have a busy couple of months ahead.

Friday Brandy and mom were off work. So we went to moms and put one of her trees up and then went to eat Mexican for lunch. It is rare that we are all off on the same day. So it was fun but a big hassle with 6 kids. Saturday I was going to put up my Christmas tree which I did and that is just a big ole mess!!! Then Sunday was my birthday I turned 28! And it was just another day. Except for Bradley's mom calling crying because his dad was so bad. So we went down to there house after we got finished eating and stayed until church time. Then went to church and straight home to relax for a little bit before we went to bed which I was ready for early. I have been so tired this weekend!

Oh well now it is time to start getting ready for the busy weeks ahead!! Have a good week everyone!!

Fall Cleaning

This week has pretty much been trying to recop from the busy past few weeks. I am was off Monday Wednesday and Friday this week. But of course I had a extra kid 2 of those three days and I haven't gotten anything done in my house. Not to mention that my back has been killing me this week. Wilkins isn't bad at all. It is when Wilkins and Logan are together that drives me crazy. When Lucas and Addy were there age and still now they played so good together. They just love each other so much. Logan and Wilkins on the other hand think they are funny when they do something mischievous or they are screaming at each other arguing. Which I give all credit to Leanne for the arguing thing. She thinks it is funny to get them to argue. So thanks YAYA!! Me and Brandy have to deal with it on a regular basis. Anyway enough about that. I am so excited about this weekend. We have absolutely no plans. Nothing going on no where to be just relax and sew of course. I am trying to Fall Clean you know it is kind of like spring cleaning before revival but this is so I can get my Christmas stuff out which I am hoping my wonderful husband will do for me this weekend. I usually put my tree up the day after Halloween but as I said earlier my back has been bad and I have to wait on my wonderful husband to get it out of the attic. He would kill me if I tried to climb up there and get it down. You know in my condition.

Anyway for those of you with little boys know how it is to clean their bathroom. Well I have just finished a major cleaning job in there. They are nasty! We are definitely going to have to work on the whole aiming thing. Cause I promise it looks like they tried to write their name on the wall. LOL!! Oh well now on to my bathroom maybe it won't be too bad!! LOL

Crazy Kid...

I had to sit down and post this today because it was just too funny. Logan has become such a little comedian we laugh at him all the time. The other day we were talking about what they wanted to be for halloween. Lucas was saying he was going to be Jack Sparrow and Logan was going to be Will Turner or davy jones he can't decide. Anyway we were just talking and logan (who is a week away from being )turns and says to me with so much excitement "momma I know what you can be for Halloween, You can be the SHIP" LOL not the pretty pirate girl in the moive I have to be the whole stinking ship!! LOL.. He comes up with some crazy stuff! This morning he comes in my room at 4am and says "momma I got chocolate all over me" I look his hands are covered his face his neck his shirt is all chocolatey. LOL I was like what are you doing up at 4am much less why do you have chocolate every where. After I cleaned him up I went to put him in bed and there are like 20 little reese's papers all over his bedroom floor. I don't know what time he got up but it was early enough to make a huge mess!! LOL

I have officially reached my limit. I am so tired it is not even funny. We had a wedding Saturday and it was a big one!! We left my house at 7:15 Friday morning and I did not get back home until 1am Saturday morning then left out 8am Saturday morning for the actual wedding. It started at 2 and it was a strange one. LOL... Was not at our church. And the preacher was kind of weird too. It went off without a hitch so that I am thankful for. I got home at 6 yesterday afternoon and got ready for church. So when I got home last night it was about 10 and I sat down on the couch with Bradley to the Alabama game. I couldn't keep my eyes open so I crawled into bed and I was out like a light. So today Bro Pat went to Hytop and we opted to be lazy today. Bradley is still in bed and I am sitting on the couch with my feet propped up. I know it wont last but right now it feels really good!

Dealing with it...

Well today is a beautiful fall day and I am feeling a lot better. Tuesday I spent the better part of the afternoon crying. LOL I am sorry it wasn't that I didn't want another boy. I think it was more that I thought this would be the last baby we would have and I would never have a little girl. I want a daughter so bad but as Bradley keeps telling me we are still young you never know what will happen in a few years. So on the subject of names we have officially decided against Levi and Landon. He said I could name it whatever I want just not landon. So right now I am thinking about Layne Maddux...If you have any other suggestions for names that start with a L or M. Feel free to comment me I am stumped...Since we have a Lucas Morgan and Logan Miles we feel like we have to stick with those letters. By the way I am tired of it and I say forget it but Bradley and the rest of my family says it has to be a LM name. So suggestions would be nice!

It's a Boy!!!

Yes it is in fact a boy!! And yes I cried. Actually I criede alot. Which is wierd because I really thought I would be okay with it. I think everyone telling me it was going to be a girl kind of got my hopes up. I am ok now still a little bummed. I really wanted a girl. I have not been this upset over either one of my boys. i think the reason I am now is cause I kinda feel like this is the last one. I have no more hope. LOL..Oh well as long as it is healthy that is all that matters really.

My biggest problem with another is the name. Bradley wants Levi...I hate that name. I like Landon and he hates that name. A girl name was easy we had that one down but that really doesn't matters now does it. Well I do have to have another ultrasound November 16th because he wouldn't be still and he chose to fold up with his head in his chest so the couldn't get good pictures of the heartbeat. So now we just spend the next 4 months trying to figure out what are going to call this kid!! Lucas likes Timmy Two Shoes...LOL not sure where that comes from and Logan is calling it Logan Baby!! So have a good week!!

Oh my lord this has been one crazy week for us! We had a singing last Friday night, a house keeping shower Saturday, Bradleys family came in Sunday. Then Monday Bradleys mom had surgery so I spent the whole day at the hospital. Tuesday was spent at her house. Then Wed and Thursday I spent cleaning our closets and moving Logan back in with Lucas. Some more of Bradleys family came in Friday night so we spent most of the day Saturday at Ednas house again. Then today we went to Chattanooga for a family reunion. I have absolutely nothing to do tomorrow but laundry. The BIG day for us is Tuesday.... That is my ultrasound....I just want it to be over with so I know!!! Not to mention we have wedding Saturday that we are doing and it is really big. So I am dreading this weekend really bad! Oh well yall have a good week. I will try and post after my doctors appt tuesday!

1. Do you like Starbucks? I like Starbucks but Bradley doesn't drink coffee so we don't go that much!
2. How do you decorate and prepare for Fall? Well I get me some hay bales about 5 pumpkins about 5 mums put my scarecrows out and my metal Halloween signs. I also have a ton of cracker barrel Halloween stuff. But the day after Halloween I go straight to Christmas.LOL

Dreary Monday

I have to say that it is so dreary outside but I love this cool weather. It's not raining but really cloudy. It just makes me want to lay around all day but all of you that have children understand that is not possible. The boys spent the night with Carter and Edna last night so this morning I got to sleep until 9. It was so nice!! I got up started making my grocery list and going thru my paper and coupons. I was thinking I would run to Kroger and Publix then go get the boys. Well Lucas calls at 10:30 ready for me to come get him. Apparently Carter wasn't feeling very well today. So I took off down there got them and got back home. Now I am sitting here up to my eyeballs in coupons. I think I finally have everything together and all my lists made. I refuse to go with the kids so after Bradley gets home and we eat dinner. I will be off to the grocery store and then to moms to sew the rest of the night. We have so many orders with just no time to get them all done.

This weekend was so busy as a normal 4th weekend is for me. Friday night mom Brandy Leanne and I ran and did a little bit of shopping. Then Saturday was Addy's birthday party at 12 so after that we ran to the store to pick up some things for church that night. It was really good had a few visitors and Bro Shirley was here. I really enjoyed him as usual. Then Sunday we had even more visitors. It was good too! Sunday afternoon mom Leanne and I went to Aunt Veta's to spend time with Kyle, Amy,and Aunt Sheila before they headed home. By Sunday night I wasn't fit to kill. Bradley and I stopped by taco bell and as soon as we go home we went right to bed. We were so tired. He has been working 60 hours a week so he is so pooped. This week Carter has 1 Doctors appointment and Edna has two then our singing is Friday night and it is my time to work it. Then Monday Edna is having surgery. Not to mention all Bradley's family that will be here the weekend for the surgery. Oh well busy busy week ahead. I also really need to go find me something to wear to the singing. The kids already have new outfits. So if I get a chance I am going to try to find us something but who knows if that will happen.
On a exciting note it is two weeks from tomorrow I find out the gender of the baby. I am so excited. I finally had my self expecting a boy but then Saturday night I had a dream it was a girl. So who knows as long as it is healthy is all I really care about. Well my kids have fell asleep so I am going to get up from here and get some cleaning done!

Finally some GOOD news!!

I just got a call saying that my cousin Tiffany (Cardin) Pharris is on her way to Birmingham for a liver transplant. She has been so bad lately I wasn't sure if she was going to make it. So we are hoping for a easy surgery and for her to come out healthy. She still has a long road ahead but finally there is a light at the end of the tunnel. Thought I would share some good news with everyone. It seems to be rare these days!!

I am Thankful TOO!!!

Well I am going to join in on all the Thankfulness!!

-I am thankful for my wonderful husband. He is my best friend. That he has a GREAT job and I do not have to work. I choose to but not for long! I am thankful that the lord saved his soul! You don't know how many prayers where sent up for that! He is so sweet and caring. The best husband, daddy, and friend I could have ever asked for.

-For my 2 healthy little boys that somehow drive me up a tree and still make me more happy that words could ever explain. They are healthy and happy little boys!

-I am thankful that so far I have had a healthy pregnancy. It has not been easy but the baby and I are healthy so far and that is all I ask for!

-I am thankful for my mom and dad. My dad has not always done everything perfect but when I need something ran over to my house here he comes. Or if I need him to pick up my chicken on 4th Sunday he runs to CB to get it and take it to church so I don't have to leave early. And my mom she is like a hero in my eyes. She endured so much thru our childhood. She had to deal with more than even I will ever know but she did it with her head held high. She never ran all over the place telling her problems. She just dealt with them. She worked so many years at night when dad didn't. She brought me up knowing what was right. Still to this day if i need something she will either see that I have it or help me pray that the lord will work it out.

-I am thankful for my sisters... For Brandy we don't always see eye to eye but if I am ever truly in need she is there. We can fight and the next day it is over. If I need someone to talk to and know it will stay between us she is the person I can go to. She would give you everything she has if she likes you..LOL...J/K. If someone is down she jumps on the band wagon and tries to make it better. For LeAnne well LeAnne is very different from me but we can laugh and laugh and have a blast. She can always make me feel better with her stupidity.LOL..We are a creative team I say. I can imagine and she can put it together. She can do anything she puts her mind to. I am so thankful for my sisters they are my best friends

-I am also so thankful for all my family. We are super close. We don't all talk all the time but if something happens we are there and know they have our backs. We can talk about each other but you better NOT!!! LOL

-I am thankful for all my in laws...I can not tell you how strange these people are. The Pritchetts I mean. They put on this rough tough front but really underneath they are softies. They would give you the shirt off their back if they thought you needed it. They have been there for us so many times I can not even tell you. They keep my kids when I have to work. So many times we have been in need and they would leave us money on the table when they left our house. They are the best I could ever asked for!

-I am thankful for my church and my preacher...For how if I am sick they call the next day to see how I am feeling. I can not imagine my life anywhere else..

-I am thankful that I have a nice home with food in the pantry. A nice car to drive. That I have the things I need and some of my wants..

-Last but not least I am thankful for 12 years ago July1st. The day I received salvation. That I can still say 12 years later that I am still on of his.

How could I have forgot to blog about this. We have laughed about it so much! The first week of school when the kids told us about praying so much and Lucas said never did never will. Well the next time they went. We asked them again how the day went and if they had to pray again. Addy says " Yea we prayed but only for our Father, they wont let us pray for our mother" LOL You see they say the lords prayer "our Father which art in heaven..." Yea nothing in that prayer is about your mother. They are so crazy!

Also, Lucas braved his first day alone. Addy is in Alabama at her Gran's. So Lucas went all by his self today. The teacher he was going to be kind of sad at first but then when the other boys started getting there he perked up and had a great day. I also got the whole bragging on our kids thing Tuesday. They have two teachers and they think Lucas and Addy are the best kids ever. Which I think they are confused. They have never even got in trouble for talking too much. Which totally blows me away.

So on a fun note. The Cardin reunion starts tomorrow night at Rock Island State Park. We usually have so much fun. We eat play cards talk laugh alot eat alot more. The kids play ride their bicycles all day. We love it. I am kind of sad that Bradley will probably not get to go with me this year. He is working up at Opryland Hotel and they are working like 60 hours a week. So that means 10 hours tomorrow and Saturday. Which I am not complaining because work has been slow and if he is getting to work I am just thanking the good Lord that he still has a job! Oh well I am sure I will have some interesting stories to blog about next week! Have a nice weekend!

Favorite Time of Year!!

Okay... So I am not the only crazy person that is ready for Christmas! ( Chasity) I spend my year planning for Christmas. I love it. I love the trees and the get together! It is truly the most wonderful time of year! I actually will end up putting up about 10 trees only 3 will be in my house. LeAnne and I decorate trees and most of the time the whole house for other people. We are usually putting up trees from Halloween until Thanksgiving. I like to get them all up before Thanksgiving because our get togethers start first Sunday in December and last until the weekend after New Years. It is craziness! But I love it.

One of my other favorite things this time of year is BLACK FRIDAY shopping!! We usually start at the outlet mall that opens at midnight and hit all the stores there until Target, Wal-Mart,and Kohls open. Mom Leanne Brandy and I stay up all night and have so much fun! Of course if you know us we eat out at least 2 times and end up at Ihop at about 9 o'clock before we go home and go to bed. Last year we got back up at about 3 in the afternoon and Mom Brandy and I went to eat luch then to do some more shopping. LOL! We love to Christmas shop all season long. We load up all the kids usually dress them in some really cute outfits load up the strollers and head off. Of course we usually get nothing accomplished but we have tons of fun! LOL...Oh well now that I went on and on about Christmas...

I really love fall too. This is my 2nd favorite times of the year. I love the cool air, haunted houses, the colors and the pumpkin patch of course. We usually load all our kids up and get some cute pictures.

Well I am off to get my dinner out of the oven and head out to do some running around and meet with Sister Trinda about her Christmas stuff!Have a good rest of the week!

Welcome Krypto the Superdog!

We finally got a new puppy! Bradley said it was the boys puppy but he is so in love with this dog.
He even got up like 30 minutes early for work this morning to play with him before he had to leave. Bradley won't even get up early for breakfast..Anyway he is a 8 week old border collie and he is super sweet. Apparently the fattest and the sweetest of the litter. Lucas (and Bradley) named him Krypto the super dog. After some crazy cartoon about Superman's dog. LOL they are such weirdos. Anyway he is super cute and sweet.

We have been debating on getting a new dog for a long time. Bradley really wanted on for the KIDS!! You see we had the best dog ever "Zeke". Bradley got Zeke for his 16th bday. So when we got married and got our house he became our dog. Zeke was a weimeraner and he was super smart. He never ran away. He could open the gate but he always just stayed on the porch. Zeke was 13 and was in bad health. He got to where he wouldn't eat and never wanted to play. Then one Sunday morning we woke up and Zeke was gone. We believe he went away to die. We never saw him again. It was sad but he was old and sick. So we were hesitant to get a new dog because we knew he would have high standards to meet.

The boys love him and I am sure he will be a good a dog. Logan just lays down in the grass and lets the dog lick all over his face. It grosses me out! LOL But they are boys they don't care.

I went to the doctor today and I have lost 2lbs so I was happy about that. I also set up my ultrasound appointment. We find out the gender of the baby October 12th and I can't wait!!! You all know what I am hoping for right!!

Did I mention...

I have a ton of stuff to do this week! Well the big man upstairs must have just thought that was funny. I have literally either laid in bed flat on my back or sat on the couch all week. I am seriously dying with my back this week. The doctor thinks it is my Siatic nerve ( spelling ?) I am telling you it is driving me insane. I haven't got to work all week. My kids have been driving me banana's this week. Mainly because I am just miserable and they can't do anything by their selves. They literally have to play in what ever room I am in. Oh well Lucas has been a pretty big help to me. He is at the age where he can do everything you know and loves that he can help. But seriously my house needs some love. Bradley has tried to do some stuff. He mopped and waxed my floors dusted and done some laundry. Which his idea of doing laundry is washing drying and throwing on the couch! LOL He tries!! Oh well Logan spent the night with papaw and nana last night and Lucas went to school today. So I am actually alone. I am going to try to lay on the couch and hopefully get this back rested up!

Crazy week behind and ahead!

Well we have been crazy here lately it seems. Since mom has moved we have been helping her but nothing is getting accomplished it seems we just get in the pool or hot tub after working for a few minutes. LOL..My back has been killing me this week so I am completely useless. Carter is doing alot worse the treatment they had him on quit working. Edna is having surgery in two weeks for some female issues she has. And I am doing them at 65th Birthday party Friday night. And I am excited to say I actually got the whole family to come. We haven't all been together for a holiday in a few years. I am actually working on getting some of their brothers and sisters here. We will have to wait and see. So I am super busy this week.

Not to mention all the drama that is going on and it seems that is all I can think about. Worrying all the time, confused how some people do not know what MERCY is, wondering why people would be so brutal and seems like they just don't care. But let some of their family get in a battle and I am sure they can find some mercy. I just would like everyone that is making life so difficult for my family to look up the difference in a mistake and a sin.In my book I was taught by one of the greatest men in the world. (Bro. Paul) He had so much mercy and believed in the good old way of letting the lord doing the judging. Cause if you kick someone out and they still had a chance the blood will be on your hands. Oh well that is enough of my soapbox. I love everyone and want everyone to make it.

On a good note the lord truly blessed me last night and the lord sent his children to anoint me. I know he knows exactly what I need. And I so needed it in body and in mind. Oh well I have tons to do this week. Hope everyone has a good week!!!!

Why am I awake?? That is what I keep asking myself. This weekend was so busy on top of moving mom all weekend 3 people I know died. One of which we had to do all the flowers. LeAnne and I had to go to Hytop Sunday night to do flowers then back last night to Scottsboro to deliver them. Sunday night was the worst we didn't get in until after midnight and last night it was almost 11. But we made it and helped out some family also. So now I have been up since 5am because Lucas was awake and after making Bradley and Lucas' lunch I convinced Lucas he needed to sleep a little longer because he had school today and he wouldn't feel like playing if he was sleepy. So now he is back a sleep and I am awake. LOL Oh yea....

Thursday when they went to school Addy was telling LeAnne how they had to pray so much she couldn't even eat and I was like Lucas didn't say anything about praying. So I asked him "Lucas did you pray at school today" His response was"Never did never will" LOL He is so crazy. I am thinking here we go in this Methodist preschool in our long skirts and long hair looking all holy and our kids wont even PRAY!! LOL They are going to think we are atheist or something!!LOL OH well kids they are so funny. Well I am going to start getting things together for the day!

Well we made it. Lucas did so good!! He went straight in his classroom and started playing with all the kids. He said he had fun playing with he boys! He was so excited I couldn't be upset leaving him! Addy did really good too. The teacher claims they were very good but it was just the first day! LOL.. As the day went on the more I worried at about 11 I about had a melt down right there at work. You will never know how close I came to calling the school to check!! I know I am crazy!! LOL I didn't so I get points for that!
